Mp3-Renamer

As the name points out, this is a tool that can be used to rename MP3 files. Mp3-Renamer allows you to set the rules it will use to rename MP3s, it allows you to preview MP3s before renaming them, and it allows you to batch rename MP3s. Using this tool to batch rename MP3s is an incredibly simple matter.

Go through the following steps to get Mp3-Renamer up and running: download an archive, extract and run the executable inside the archive, follow the instructions presented by the setup wizard. The setup wizard will quickly install Mp3-Renamer and then will offer to launch the application.

The original MP3s are displayed as a list on the left hand side of the interface. A preview of the renamed MP3s is displayed as a list on the right hand side. In between there’s a section that features buttons to add files, remove files, set renaming rules, preview MP3s, launch the renaming process, and exit the application. At the top there’s a traditional File Menu.

Using Mp3-Renamer is a fairly simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – select the files you want to rename. You can load a single MP3 file, multiple MP3 files, or you can select a folder that contains MP3 files.
Step 2 – set up the renaming rules. This means you will have to enter values for the following: singer, title, album, date, separator. You will also get to specify where the renamed MP3s will be saved.
Step 3 – preview the renamed files; launch the renaming process if you’re happy with the preview.
